The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is making it easier than ever to stay hydrated with the addition of 12 water bottle stations throughout the community.
The initiative aims to promote Whistler’s great tap water and discourage the use of single-use plastic bottles.
The new stations can be found at: Whistler Olympic Plaza, Rebagliati Park, Village Square, near the Whistler Golf Course, Whistler Fitzsimmons Bike Park, Rainbow Park, Meadow Park, Lost Lake Park, Lakeside Park, and Bayly Park.

“The new water bottle filling stations are a fantastic step forward in helping us all disrupt our single use habits, while enjoying Whistler’s excellent tap water,” said Whistler Mayor Jack Crompton. “Now, simply by bringing a reusable waterbottle to the Village or Whistler’s parks, you can stay refreshed without producing plastic waste.”
The RMOW anticipates the installation of even more water refill stations next year, bringing Whistler closer to its goal of zero waste.
Whistler’s tap water is rigorously tested for safety and, in our opinion, tastes great. Drinking water results are posted on Vancouver Coastal Health’s website, and Whistler’s Annual Drinking Water report is posted at whistler.ca/drinkingwater.
