If you didn’t know that Pizzeria Antico was just 4 months old (at the time of this post) you could quite easily believe that it had been passed down through generations. From the wood fired forno ovens, to the charming and rustic interior, it’s clear that Pizzeria Antico has authenticity, tradition and family at its heart – 3 things very dear to us, so naturally we’ll be spending a lot more time there. It’s also, by far, the most stylish Pizzeria we’ve ever seen!
Pizzeria Antico is open Sunday to Wednesday, 11am to 10pm and Thursday to Saturday, 11am to 11pm.
If you go, and we really think you should, book ahead by calling: 604 962 9226.

With the ovens roaring, the chefs cooking, and a familiar hum of pleasant conversation filling the air, it’s easy to daydream of being in Italy. Every time we’ve been in for an evening meal the restaurant has been packed to the rafters, but it nothing ever feels rushed.
At the far end of the restaurant is a private dining area, with two traditional long tables – perfect for large family gatherings.
The chefs at Pizzeria Antico have studied the art and craft of Neapolitan pizza-making with some of the most talented pizza masters. The Neapolitan way of cooking pizza is receiving fresh attention from all corners of the culinary world. In 2004, the people of Naples requested that the name “Pizza Napoletana” become regulated in the same way as Champagne, Chianti, Mozzarella, and Parmesan – immediately elevating the cooking technique to an art form.
We especially love Pizzeria Antico because the support local producers like Forty Ninth Parallel Roasters from Vancouver, the Howe Sound Brewing Company in Squamish and our very own Whistler Brewing, based in Function Junction.
Any restaurant that sells local craft beer by the growler, wins our heart!
You can find the restaurant just a few doors down from us on Main Street at:
4369 Main St, Whistler, BC V0N 1B4 – right by Mount Currie Coffee (another of our favourites)
